BECOME A PARISHIONER

Active parishioners have registered with the Parish Office. They regularly participate in the weekend Liturgy at St. Catherine of Siena Parish, invest their time, talent and treasure in the parish through participation in the annual Stewardship Pledge Drive, and they hold the parish in their daily prayers. For more information, please contact the Parish Office.

RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS (RCIA)

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is the usual way adults and older children are initiated into the Catholic Church.  Individuals are immersed in the Catholic life of the St. Catherine community, through prayer, worship, study of the faith and social activities.

The process culminates each year in the celebration of the Sacraments of Initiation at the Easter Vigil. Those involved generally meet on Thursday evenings from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. September through April.

For more information about the program, please contact John David Kimes at (859)441-1352, ext, 21 or jdkimes@stcatherineofsiena.com.

BAPTISM

Preparation for infant baptism happens in baptism classes, generally held on the fourth Thursday of the month. Both parents must have attended one of these classes in the last 5 years in order for their child to be baptized at St. Catherine of Siena. Since baptism "incorporates one into the Church", parents are encouraged to hold the baptism during the Sunday liturgy.

MARRIAGE

Your wedding is only the start of the sacrament of marriage. Couples who are married at St. Catherine will begin their sacramental preparation by meeting with the Pastor. One member of the couple must be a registered parishioner. Please contact the Parish Office for more information at least six months prior to your wedding.
