Our Visit to Sunrock Farm and Carmel Manor
Each month students in Mrs. Gallagher's third grade class, at St. Catherine of Siena, have a Don Bosco meeting to decide what they can do to help members of the community. For October and November, the students came up with the idea of spending the day with residents at Carmel Manor creating a "turkey pumpkin" and playing bingo. Since the class was learning about plants and animals they took a field trip to SunRock farm. Students then took their pumpkin they picked to Carmel Manor to create a turkey with the residents.
