
2007-2008 Standardized Test Results
Below you will find the test scores for students in grades 2-8 for the 2007-2008 school year. The results show how each class did as a whole against students across the nation who took the same test. The Assessment Summary shows the Median National Percentile for the class along with the range of scores achieved. The gray area shows the average range for students across the nation. This information can be used along with your own child's home report to see how they are doing compared with their peers. Remember that this instrument is only one of many items that should be used to evaluate a child or even a class's progress.

Also, we are often asked how we compare against the local public school district. Ft. Thomas schools are one of the top public school districts in the state and have an excellent academic program. For most grades, they take the CATS test for the state of Kentucky. For national comparison, they also take the CTBS 5 in grades 3 and 6. This test is very comparable to the Terra Nova test that is taken by students at St. Catherine especially when using national percentiles. Below you will see the 2006-2007 test score comparisons for the 6th graders for both schools in the three major content areas.
