God of Creation,  

thank you for the gift of "Christopher" 's life, 

for the beauty of his conception. 

Perhaps not even his  mother 

yet knows of his existence, 

but in Your mysterious way 

begin to move her to take better care

of her health, to improve her diet 

and to get enough sleep and exercise.     

Give this child every chance 

for healthy development in the womb.  Above all, when "Christopher" 's mother does discover him growing within her, 

fill her with love for him, and give her 

a desire to see her child born.
