CATHOLICS
AT THE CAPITOL In
today’s first reading the Lord says of Moses, “I will raise up for them a
prophet like you from among their kin, and will put my words into his
mouth…” Baptism confers a
prophetic role upon each of us. Consider exercising that role this year by
attending Catholics at the Capitol, February 6th & 7th in Frankfort. Learn in
detail about bills before the General Assembly that your bishop has identified
as important because of their impact on human life and dignity. The workshops on
Monday afternoon will help you be the prophet needed in our world to speak to
legislators and encourage them to vote in ways that reflect God’s values.
Visit www.ccky.org to register and
learn more about this important event.
