 IN OUR PARISH

I received a very nice note from the vestry of St. Andrew Church.  It read, in part, "Thank you also for the special prayer and Rosary service you held for Chip [Fr. Chip, the rector] and his family. . . . Faithfully, the St. Andrew's Vestry."   I was again proud of our parish family, in particular the Rosary Prayer Group, who are so generous and faithful in their prayer; those who helped in the production of the rosary booklet; and all of you, who took time to come pray for our sisters and brothers in Christ.  They were touched by your care.    Fr. Stef

THE BURNING OF THE GREENS      will be hosted by the St. Catherine Men's Group this Wednesday, February 2nd, as part of Parish Night. You won't want to miss this family event. Please see the flyer in today's bulletin for the details.

PRO- LIFE FACT      The Guttmacher Institute, a pro-abortion research organization previously affiliated with Planned Parenthood, released a study in 2008 titled “Abortion in the U.S., Incidence & Access to Services, 2005”.  At that time there were 1,787 doctors that performed abortion; 20% of them after 20 weeks & 8% after 24 weeks.  Though the numbers seem small, that translates to at least 300 “doctors” who will perform abortions after 20 weeks & 140 willing to perform abortions at 24 weeks.
