 IN OUR PARISH

OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHY     is extended to the family and friends of Ken Glaser, who was buried from our parish last week.  Please remember Ken and his family in your prayers.

PARISH MISSION WITH DEACON RALPH POYO     St. Catherine will be holding a parish mission from Sunday – Wednesday, January 23rd – 26th at 7:00 p.m.  Deacon Ralph Poyo was Ordained to the Permanent Deaconate in November of 2004 in the Diocese of Raleigh, NC.  He has served as a Youth Minister and Director of Faith Formation for over 25 years. He is currently the Founder/President of New Evangelization Ministries.  With his engaging and passionate style of preaching, the Lord continues to use him to reach people even beyond the parish setting, as he challenges listeners of all ages to get outside of their comfort zones in their day-to-day practice of the faith.  He is passionate about helping others to make Catholicism more a way of life than just a religious identity.  Having committed his life to the pursuit of Truth and to the service of the Church, he is faithful to the Magisterium and always seeks to be in union with Rome . Please see the back of the Advent booklet for titles of each talk.

ATTENTION REMKE SHOPPERS    Remke is changing the way they do their donation program.  Instead of using your current Remke card, you will need to get a new gift card from the scrip program that will be used in the same way as the Kroger gift cards.  There is no cost initially; you will “load” the card at the store with whatever amount of money you would like and you can pay with cash, check or credit card.  Then you use the Remke card to pay for your groceries.  We will receive 4% of the money spent from all the cards.

THANK YOU    to the St. Catherine staff, parish and prayer groups who helped me this past year while I was recovering from my ankle injury.  You are all so generous, and my family could not have gotten by without your help and prayers.  God bless you all!    Julia Neundorfer
