founding member of the popular Christian band Scarecrow and Tinmen, Chris
Padgett is a talented musician, an inspirational speaker, and a convert to
Catholicism. Music will be provided by the Lee Roessler Band and
Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish's Life Teen Band. Admission is free, but

parish in Crescent Springs on August
13, 14, 15. The tradition continues
as families, friends, neighbors, parishioners, and more come together to
celebrate each other and their community. This
year boasts festival favorites such as live music, raffles, Norb’s Grill, and
Noll’s fried chicken dinner on Sunday. There’s
plenty of family fun with 25˘ Kids games, unlimited Rides special on Sunday,
1-5 p.m., and a 5K Run/Walk on Saturday.
Visitors can relax in the beer garden as they chat with an old friend or

THE NATIONAL ALLIANCE FOR MENTAL
ILLNESS (NAMI) is a grassroots organization dedicated to improving the lives
of individuals and families affected by mental illness. NAMI Northern Kentucky,
located in the former St. Bernard School building,
Dayton

Ky.
, is one of 1,100 affiliates nationwide offering an array of support and
education programs for families affected by mental illness. They will begin a
12-week Family-to-Family education program for family members and friends of
individuals with major depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and
schizoaffective disorder, borderline personality disorder, panic disorder,
obsessive-compulsive disorder, co-occurring brain and addictive disorders.
