EASTER
MESSAGE
We’ve walked through another Lent together, and celebrated another
Triduum, and now we’ve arrived at this glorious season of Easter.
Through these next seven weeks, some of us will still deal with illness
or the death of loved ones or worries about our children.
Some of us still may be out of work.
May the joy of the Easter season, and the knowledge that Christ is
victorious over evil and all its manifestations, bring you joy and lighten the
burden of your cares. Fr. Stef
OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHY
is extended to the family and friends of Gloria Brooks, Margie
Thomas, Ruth Langenbahn, and Mary Kroger, all
of whom were recently buried from our parish.
Please keep them and their families in your prayers.
DIVINE MERCY
The Divine Mercy Chaplets and Novena are the devotional fruits born
out of the Divine Mercy revelations given to St. Faustina from our Lord. We are
inviting you to join in the Divine Mercy Novena starting on Good Friday after
the stations and continuing everyday following daily mass until Divine Mercy
Sunday on April 11th (except
for Easter Sunday which will be said independently). This is a very short
devotional (5-8 minutes), pamphlets will be available.
LITTLE WHITE BOOKS for the Easter season will be available in the back of church today.
CCD TEACHERS: needed for the 2010-2011 school year. The time for discernment is now. We are in search of a third and eighth grade teacher. Interested persons must be active in their faith and ready to answer the call. Diocese requires applicants to be, or to become, Virtus trained and willing to begin work on teaching certification for religious education teachers. Contact David Kohrs at 859-653-4398 or kohrssd@fuse.net with your willingness to serve in this ministry.

PRAYER BLANKET MINISTRY We
are starting a new prayer blanket ministry at St. Catherine.
We will be making fleece blankets for parishioners that are sick, having
surgery or need healing in any way. We
are in need of crafters, monetary donations and prayers for the recipients.
If anyone is interested in helping with this ministry in any way, please
call Nancy Hassman at (859)760-3751 or email at nhassman@fuse.net.
UPCOMING NOMINATIONS We are currently seeking nominations for parishioners to fill seats on the Board of Catholic Education and Parish Pastoral Council. These are left vacant by a number of outgoing Board and Council members who have dedicated their time and talents to St. Catherine Parish. Please consider the many gifts you or your fellow parishioners have to offer these groups and deposit your nominations in the ballot box that will be located at the back of the chruch for the next few weeks. Nominees will be contacted and invited to attend a discernment meeting in May. You may contact Carol Little at 441-4070 or Bob Hassman at 653-6014 with any questions.
HELP NEEDED We are in need of someone to lay laminate floor tile in a few areas. If you know how to do this and would like to volunteer, please call Dennis Kramer at 441-1352, ext. 17.
