IN OUR PARISH

WE WELCOME TO OUR PARISH FAMILY   through baptism: Zachary Alexander Crawford, son of John and Christine; and Lucy Bernadette Gillen, daughter of Vince and Christa.  May they always know God’s blessings.

THANK YOU   “On behalf of everyone at Welcome House, especially the clients we serve, I want to thank you for your recent donation of 75 bags of food for Easter.  Your contribution will help us provide food to the individuals and families in our community who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless due to extreme poverty.”

“We would like to thank your congregation for including The Hosea House in your annual Lenten Project.  We received over 100 bags of groceries which were delivered on Good Friday.  The help unloading and putting away all the food was really appreciated too. The Easter baskets that were made by your 8th graders were given out on Easter Sunday and brought so many smiles to our children and even their parents.  The laminated placemats made by your 2nd graders were enjoyed by all. Some of our clients even took their placemats home with them after they finished their Easter meal. So far this year, we have served 11,108 meals to our community and St. Catherine Church has contributed greatly to continue to make this possible.  We appreciate your on-going support and dedication to the Henry Hosea House to continue to help those less fortunate members of our community especially during the holidays.”

FATHERLESS   dubbed "the Catholic novel of our generation" will leave you Breathless for the Truth about the cultural dismantling of morality and the struggle and courage of those priests in the Catholic Church who dare to proclaim the Truth. NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF LETTER CARRIERS “STAMP OUT HUNGER” FOOD DRIVE MAY 8th   One of the biggest food drives of the year is coming up in Northern Kentucky and you don’t even have to leave home to participate. Just put non-perishable food items at your mailbox on the morning of Saturday, May 8th, and your postal carrier will pick them up and deliver them to food pantries or soup kitchens in Kenton, Campbell and Boone counties benefiting from the drive. The project is a crucial one because it helps to replenish agencies’ food supplies going into the summer, typically a slow time for food drives. So, remember: Please be generous and leave food out Saturday, May 8th, and your mail carrier will start it on its way to folks who really need it.

SAFE , HEALTHY, MORALLY RIGHT, AND EFFECTIVE    for both achieving and postponing pregnancy—that’s the natural family planning (NFP) method taught by NFP International.  A new course starts on Wednesday, May 12 at St. Lawrence Church in Price Hill at 7:00 p.m. and continues on the second Wednesdays of June and July.  “Pleased with the information and excited to know it” was the reaction of a recent attendee.  Call Sheila and John Kippley at 513-661-7396 for information and registration.  A Home Study Course for Marriage Preparation is available at www.NFPandmore.org
