and the Catholic Church's struggles and triumphs in trying to usher in that
Truth. Dedicated to "The Year For Priests", author Brian Gail, former
fortune 500 ad-man, semi-pro athlete, and father of seven, will speak at St.
Catherine on Sunday, April 25th

ST. CATHERINE’S
MEN’S
PRAYER BLANKET MINISTRY We
are starting a new prayer blanket ministry at St. Catherine.
We will be making fleece blankets for parishioners that are sick, having
surgery or need healing in any way. We
are in need of crafters, monetary donations and prayers for the recipients.
If anyone is interested in helping with this ministry in any way, please
call Nancy Hassman at (859)760-3751 or email at nhassman@fuse.net.
UPCOMING NOMINATIONS We are currently seeking nominations for parishioners to fill seats on the Board of Catholic Education and Parish Pastoral Council. These are left vacant by a number of outgoing Board and Council members who have dedicated their time and talents to St. Catherine Parish. Please consider the many gifts you or your fellow parishioners have to offer these groups and deposit your nominations in the ballot box that will be located at the back of the chruch for the next few weeks. Nominees will be contacted and invited to attend a discernment meeting in May. You may contact Carol Little at 441-4070 or Bob Hassman at 653-6014 with any questions.
HELP NEEDED We are in need of someone to lay laminate floor tile in a few areas. If you know how to do this and would like to volunteer, please call Dennis Kramer at 441-1352, ext. 17.

THE
2010 DPAA
The theme this year is “God Loves a Cheerful Giver”.
It reminds us that our all loving Father sent His only Son to earth to
save us from our selfishness and self-righteousness.
Through the life and death of Jesus, we understand sacrifice and that
love means giving oneself for others. As
disciples of Jesus, we are called to enlighten the world with works that
transform our society into a more just and loving one.
Please prayerfully reflect upon God’s love for you, review all the
materials you receive, and listen to the DPAA messages heard at
HOUSEKEEPER NEEDED The
