DAILY MASS CHANGES
As those of you who attend daily Mass know, Fr. Ian McDole,
who was helping us through the summer by saying Mass on Mondays, Thursdays, and
Saturdays, has returned to
Some of you have asked if we could have a Communion service
on those days that we do not offer
PLEASE NOTE
The Parish office will be closed on Friday, October 8th.
THANK YOU!!!! Thanks to all those who worked so hard to make Parish Fest a huge success! The turn out was the best we've had in years and everyone there seemed to have a great time. It was a great opportunity for fun and fellowship among parishioners!
WHY CAN'T CATHOLICS BE MASONS? John
Salza, a former 32nd degree Mason, will answer that question and more during his
talk on Sunday, October 3rd
at 6:30p.m.in church. John is a well published and credentialed Catholic
apologist who is a frequent guest on Catholic radio and TV including: EWTN,
Catholic Answers Live, Kresta in the Afternoon, and Sacred Heart Radio.
Freemasonry is not a social fraternity as many perceive but a secret society
whose principles are contrary to key truths of Christianity. Don't miss what
John Salza discovered behind the Lodge door.
Tickets are five dollars at the door. Doors open at

PARISH NIGHTS
JOIN US IN PRAYING
THE ROSARY On Thursday, 7 October, we celebrate the feast of Our Lady of the
Rosary. We will be praying the
entire rosary throughout the day: after the 8:00 a.m. Mass we will pray the Glorious
Mysteries; at 11:45 a.m. the Sorrowful Mysteries will be led by the
Junior High; at 2:45 p.m. Mr. Schlachter, our fifth-grade homeroom teacher, will
lead us in praying the Joyful Mysteries; and the Luminous Mysteries,
the mysteries given us by John Paul II, will be led by our RCIA team at 7:00
p.m. All rosaries will be prayed in
the church, and I invite you to join us for all or part of this traditional
devotion, which honors our Lady and meditates on the mysteries of Christ’s
life and our salvation.
UPCOMING CRHP The

PRAYER BLANKET MINISTRY We
have started the prayer blanket ministry and it is going well. We still need
help making the blankets if you could help in any way. The recipients of
the blankets love them and we would like to continue the ministry to others.
Please call Nancy Hassman 760-3751 or e-mail nhassman@fuse.net
if you would like to be a part of this ministry or need more information.
ST. BERNARD PANTRY
For the month of October, we will be collecting boxed potatoes,
