EXPOSITION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT     Due to the Chrism Mass on Tuesday, April 7th, there will be no Exposition, Benediction or Confessions.

LENTEN SERVICE PROJECT    If you did not get a Lenten bag or are able to fill another one, please

take one from the back of Church.  Fill the bag with the items on the list and return it to the Baptistry by

8:00am on Good Friday for distribution.  Please be sure to leave the colored list on the bag so that

we know where the items go.  The agencies are colored coded and many have specific needs.  Once

again we will be distributing the items on Good Friday so mark your calendars and plan to help

This is an important St. Catherine tradition.  The agencies really depend on us.  Let’s see if we can fill

all the bags available.

MESSAGE FROM THE AMERICAN LUNG ASSOCIATION    Consistently we hear stories about people losing loved ones to cancer, who never smoked.  Did you know that secondhand smoke causes lung cancer, breast cancer, heart attacks, stroke, SIDS, ear infections, asthma, and other respiratory infections?  Sadly, people are dying every day in Kentucky because of these diseases.  We can save lives by eliminating secondhand smoke from indoor spaces.  That is why the Diocese of Covington and Catholic Charities support smoke-free laws that protect all workers in all places.  The position of the Catholic Church is clear on this issue.  In fact, the Vatican has been smoke-free for several years.  Our responsibility to protect human life by removing secondhand smoke from our environment is obvious.  Now is the time to pass smoke-free laws in Northern Kentucky .  If you would like to know more about this issue or wish to become involved, please visit www.nkyaction.org and www.nkysmokefree.org, or call 859-261-1721.
