ST. CATHERINE PTO FLOWER SALE We are quickly approaching the Annual Flower Sale at the Fort Thomas Florist. The sale will be held next Wednesday, April 29th from 9am- 1pm and Friday, May 1st from 1pm-5pm . Please take this opportunity to purchase all of your gardening needs and support your parish in the process! The parish receives a percentage of all of the purchases made during these time frames, including sales on mulch, containers, tools, bouquets, plants and flowers. Your purchases can be made using cash, personal checks, charge, or on a House account. Simply let the cashier know that you are supporting St. Catherine's. Parish volunteers will be available to help you with the selection and assist you in your purchase. Do you know what you want but simply cannot find the time to get there during the sale hours? Contact me, I may be able to help you! The flowering basket sale will follow on Mother’s Day weekend, May 9th & 10th, at church after all three masses. Volunteers are still needed to help with the Friday, May 1st hours ! The knowledge of plants is helpful but definitely not required. Please contact Kelly Frost with inquiries at 859-441-0778 or kfrostky@fuse.net.

IN OUR DIOCESE

PRO- LIFE CHASTITY SPEAKER   The Diocese once again welcomes speaker Jason Evert to share his inspirational testimony with teens and their parents.  In his highly popular chastity seminar, Romance Without Regret, Jason provides compelling and uplifting reasons for embracing the virtue of chastity.  His presentation to the public will take place on Wednesday evening, April 29th at the Drawbridge Inn in Ft. Mitchell at 7:00 p.m. and it is free and open to the public.

PRESENTATION ON IMMIGRATION REFORM         On 30 April at Cristo Rey parish (formerly St. Pius X Seminary, later the Catholic Center ), Father Patrick Delahanty, Associate Director of the Catholic Conference of Kentucky, will present a program entitled: Comprehensive Immigration Reform: Good for Families and Children.  His presentation will highlight why the Catholic community should be involved in the public policy issue of immigration; what solution the U.S. Bishops are proposing so that there is a comprehensive reform of what some call the broken immigration system that protects our borders and protects B or doesn=t B those who cross them; and action steps that can be taken to advocate for the families and children most deeply affected.  The program begins at 6:00 p.m. and will end by 8:00 p.m.   Fr. Delahanty spoke here last year on the bishop=s document Faithful Citizenship, and was well received.  He is sure to make a valuable presentation.  Come and learn about a Catholic view of immigration.

MAKE A NOTE!!   Robert Rogers will return to Northern Kentucky to share his message of hope and his personal triumph over tragedy, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Burlington on Saturday, May 2nd, at 6:30PM immediately following 5:00PM Mass. This will be Robert’s third visit to Boone County . His earlier visits inspired many to “Live a Life of No Regrets” and to remember that, “God is Good - All the Time”. Both messages grew from the rise above adversity which Robert accomplished following a tragedy of Biblical proportion, when his wife and all four of his children died and went to Heaven in a flash flood on a highway in Kansas in the summer of 2003.  Here is your opportunity to hear this compelling speaker whose immediate trust in God and God’s Grace made it possible for him to rise above unimaginable tragedy and share the message of his vision - turning the hearts of people to God, and the hearts of parents and children to one another.
