ALL DAY ADORATION    Beginning Tuesday, December 1^st and continuing through December 22^nd, Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will begin immediately following 8:00 a.m. mass and end with Benediction at 6:45 p.m.   If you would like to sign up for a time, there is a sign up sheet at the Rossford entrance. LUNCH WITH ST. NICK     Attention all Ages! The Catholic Order of Foresters will be sponsoring a Lunch with St. Nick again this year. It will be on his actual feast day, December 6^th.  Join us for lunch, fun, a craft and a visit from St. Nick himself. Admission is a coloring book and crayons or $3 per person. PARISH JESSE TREE PROJECT   The liturgical season of Advent is a few days away and with it comes St. Catherine's annual Jesse Tree project.  The Jesse Tree will be located in the church's prayer/meditation space, and will hold ornaments printed with gift ideas for local agencies that are in need of our assistance this Christmas season. The project will begin on Saturday, November 28^th and continue until Sunday, December 13^th.  It would be much appreciated if your family would take part in this worthwhile project by taking an ornament from the tree, purchasing the indicated item, and returning the item to the Jesse Tree area by December 13^th.  

ST. CATHERINE GOES CHRISTMAS CAROLING   Would you like to bring peace, joy and love to others this advent?  Then join us as we go Christmas caroling Sunday, December 13^th at Carmel Manor at 5:00 pm and the Barrington at 6:00 p.m.   Please gather in St. Catherine’s parking lot at 4:45 p.m.   This event gives true meaning to the season. THE ALTERNATIVE CHRISTMAS FAIR is a way for individuals and families to take a portion of what they would normally spend on material gifts for friends and family members and use that money to benefit the lives of others.  Agencies supported by the fair are:  BeConcerned, Hosea House Soup Kitchen, IHN, Madonna House, St. Bernard Food Panty and Welcome House.  The 8^th grade Confirmation class at Saint Catherine’s put together this year’s Alternative Christmas Fair, which was held last weekend.  For those of you that were unable to attend and would still like to give, you can stop by the parish office or mail your donation to St. Catherine, 1803 N. Ft. Thomas Ave. , (be sure to designate which agency you wish to support).  Donations will be accepted until December 14^th. 

ST. CATHERINE JUNIOR HIGH PLAY    Tickets are on sale for the Junior High production of Annie, Jr.   Performance dates are January 15^th, 16^th, 17^th, 22^nd, and 23^rd.  Cost for show is $5.00.  Please see ticket order form enclosed in bulletin.

IN OUR DIOCESE

ADVENT REFLECTIONS AND CAROLS – St. Mary Parish, Alexandria , will celebrate this annual Advent prayer service on Monday, November 30^th, at 7:00 in church.  Jim Wolfe will provide special music, and parishioners will reflect on each of the four Sunday Advent gospels. 

HEALING MASS   The Mustard Seed Community will be sponsoring a Healing Mass at Mother of God Church, 119 W. 6^th St. , Covington , on Friday, December 4^th.  Mass begins at 7:15 p.m. with Praise and Worship, prayers for healing will follow mass.  The celebrant will be Fr. Joseph Gallenstein.

CATHEDRAL WINDOWS BOOK    Just in time for Christmas gift giving, the Cathedral Foundation is publishing Stories in Glass by Msgr. William Cleves.  Based on a series of talks he presented while serving as Rector of the Cathedral, the book features photographs of 38 of the Cathedral’s stained glass windows along with a brief meditative text on each.  It will be available at the Cathedral after December 10^th for $30.00.  To order a copy in advance, contact Kristi Nader at the Cathedral Foundation, 431-2060, ext 17, or by email at foundation@covcathedral.com.

VATICAN INTERNATIONAL EUCHARISTIC MIRACLES EXHIBIT    comes to Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Center, 5440 Moeller Ave. , Norwood .  Visit this extensive photographic essay – more than 140 panels detailing manifestations of the True Presence from throughout the world.  December 7^th through January 2^nd, 8am to 8pm M-F, 8am-2pm Saturdays.  Free will donation.

ADVENT CONCERT    by Regina Caeli Schola Cantorum!  A beautiful collection of hymns and readings to point us to the birth of Our Lord sung by a talented youth a cappella group dedicated to restoring Gregorian chant.  A wonderful way to begin the Vatican International Exhibit.  December 6^th, 7pm, Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Center, 5440 Moeller Ave, Norwood, 513-351-9800.  Free will donation.
