PRE-K RELIGION IN
NEED OF VOLUNTEERS: Have you
been wondering how you can give back to the Church, but don’t have a lot of
time to spare? We have an opportunity for you!
Pre-K Religion is in need of teachers that are Virtus certified.
We hope to begin offering classes in January and ending in early May,
2009. The time commitment is minimal and you will only “teach” every other

ST. CATHERINE
DAY OF PRAYER AND
PENANCE has been
declared on Thursday, January 22nd
by Bishop Foys to mark the anniversary of the Supreme Court’s decision
legalizing abortion. Every church
will remain open during the day to allow the faithful to pray for an end to
abortion, to pray for all those affected by the tragedy of abortion, and to pray
for the 50 million children murdered by abortion.
Every parish will also expose the Blessed Sacrament for period of time on
this day. Here at St. Catherine, we

OPPORTUNITIES FOR LIFE
invites those with a heart for pro-life ministry to participate in
our 2009 training sessions. The
training program consists of in-home reading and workbook materials and
concludes with a weekend training workshop, which will be held in the Diocese of
Covington. Opportunities for Life is
the Kentucky Catholic Church’s ministry to abortion-vulnerable women and men,
as well as those suffering from post-abortion syndrome. Volunteers offer hope
and resources to callers who find the courage to seek our help.
