OUR RISEN LORD AS THE GOOD SHEPHERD     is the title of the talk that Fr. Timothy Schehr will give on Sunday, April 27th at 7:00 PM at St. Catherine Church (date of talk in the Community Circle was incorrect). Our distinguished and learned guest is an Associate Professor of Biblical Studies at St. Mary's Seminary in Cincinnati. He also has done graduate studies at the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome and also earned a PH. D. from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion.  If you're new at scripture or a scholar you'll love Fr. Timothy Schehr! He will conclude this year's Praise & Worship 'Men In Black' tour.  Questions call Terri 441-3438 or Sharon 441-1069.

CATHERINE PTO FLOWER SALE will be held on Tuesday, April 29th from 9am-1pm and Wednesday, April 30th from 12pm-4pm at the Fort Thomas Florist.  Please come and purchase your Spring and Summer flowering plants, mulch and supplies.  Parish volunteers will be available to help you with the selection and assist you in your purchase.

FLOWERING BASKETS will be sold after the 4:30 pm mass on Saturday, May 10th and the 9:00 and 11:30 masses on Sunday, May 11th.  This is another perfect opportunity to brighten your home or pick up a gift for Mom on Mother’s Day!  All proceeds from both of these sales will benefit St. Catherine’s Church.  Volunteers are still needed to help with both sales.  Please contact Kelly Frost at 441-0778 or kfrostky@fuse.net for more information.

UPCOMING NOMINATIONS        We are currently seeking nominations for parishioners to fill seats on the Board of Catholic Education and the Parish Pastoral Council that will be left vacant by a number of outgoing Board and Council members who have graciously dedicated their time and talents to St. Catherine of Siena Church in these positions for the past several years.  Please consider the many gifts you or your fellow parishioners have to offer these groups and deposit your nomination(s) in the ballot box that will be located at the back of the church for the next few weeks.  Nominees will be contacted and invited to attend a discernment meeting on May 7th.  You may contact Matt Connolly at 441-7195 if you have any questions.

HOMILIES ON CD       Fr. Stef's homilies from the Lenten Series part 2 and Holy Week are now available and can be picked up in the back of church or in the parish office.

LOOKING FOR AN EASIER WAY TO FULFILL YOUR OFFERTORY COMMITMENT? Having a hard time remembering to bring your donation each Sunday? Want to give back to God from your surplus instead of your leftovers? EFT may be the answer to your dilemma. Your offertory commitment may be fulfilled by having a monthly withdrawal from your checking account through  Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). The withdrawal can take place either on the 15th or the 30th of the month. If you would like more information, please contact Mary Brzinski in the parish office 441-1352 extension 14 or email at mbrzinski@stcatherineofsiena.org.

THANK YOU    "Thank you for all of the food and personal hygiene items you donated.  With the increased price of gasoline, utilities and food, we are experiencing an increase of families turning to us for help.  We appreciate you thinking of the Brighton Center.  On behalf of the people we serve – Thank You!"       Sincerely,  Beth Hodge, Family Support Coordinator

We also received a very heartfelt thank you from the Holy Spirit Outreach Center.  They were in great need of the items donated and wanted us to know that they were very grateful for the generosity of the parishioners of St. Catherine.
