Blood Pressure Screenings after all masses
FROM THE PASTOR Every year I am impressed at how many people it takes to make the great celebrations of Holy Week happen. I am grateful for all those who helped prepare the services: the musicians, ushers, servers and lectors; those who spent so much time setting up McCrystal Hall and the library for Holy Thursday adoration and the Easter Vigil Liturgy of the Word, and then cleaned it all up afterward; those who prepared the reception after the Vigil; those who decorated the worship space; the Worship Committee, who spent quite a bit of time preparing the services; our new deacon, Bob Rottgers; and the office staff.
Sadly, I had to
return back to the seminary and once again leave my special parish family. I
want to thank everyone who made my ordination very special and let you all know
that this was also a special Holy Week for me. Serving as a Deacon here was so
moving and touching that it is hard to remember any Holy Week that could top it,
unless it was the year that I came into the Church in 1996. You will remain in
my prayers and I look forward to returning in mid May. May God bless you and
once again thank you for all your prayers and support.
