HELP HOMELESS FAMILIES   through the Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN) Monday-Wednesday, December 1st, 2nd & 3rd.  Assistance is needed in transporting families in the IHN van to and from Christ Church and the Day Center in Newport , preparing a meal, hosting a meal and spending the night. This is a great way for families and individuals to work together in service. New volunteers will be paired with experienced helpers so don’t let inexperience keep you from answering the call. Call Mindy Hoarston at 547-8415 for additional information or see the sign-up posters at the Rossford Avenue exit of church.

THE WORSHIP COMMITTEE   is introducing a new way to remember and honor a loved one while enlivening our Church.  Floral arrangements can be ordered and placed on the altar to commemorate a specific date or event.  For example, you may wish to order flowers for a 25th wedding anniversary or a loved one’s birthday.  We will announce in the bulletin the donor and event if desired.  To simplify the process, the florist will deliver the arrangement to church and bill you directly.  Call Pat Brennan at 781-2711 to schedule a date.  Thank you!

ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITY      We have contracted with Guide Book Publishing to publish a Guide Book & Directory for our congregation that will be updated and delivered directly to your homes annually. This book will be the who, what, where, when, why and how of our church.  It is being provided at no cost to us.  Local businesses are being solicited to advertise in the book.  If you own or manage a business and would like to find out about advertising in this book, please contact the church office at 441-1352.
