ECHO SOUP KITCHEN is in need of volunteer groups for weekend meals. There are still several dates available for any group that would like to help out. These groups usually plan the meal, buy the food, cook the day of, and then serve the meal during our 4:00 - 5:50 dinnertime. This can be done with as few as 8 people to as many as 15. If you are interested in this great volunteer opportunity, please call Karen Yates at 261-5857. She will explain how this works and what all is entailed in the project. This is great for youth groups, Sunday school classes, families, neighborhoods or work place friends. Come and help feed the poor and homeless in our community. If the dates are not filled, we have to close and not serve a meal that day.
