IN OUR PARISH

WE WELCOME to our parish family through Baptism: Thomas Michael Ferring son of Michael and Tara Ferring, Travis Robert Votel son of Timothy and Danielle Votel, and Samuel Scott Henderson, son of Jonathan Henderson and Brenna Trusty.  May they always know God’s blessings.

PLEASE NOTE    Father Stef will be out of town from Sunday, July 22nd, (after masses) through Saturday, August 4th.  If you have any issues that need his immediate attention or approval, please call the parish office as soon as possible.

FREE MONEY!!   That is exactly what the Scrip program has to offer.  We can earn money for St. Catherine Parish just by doing what we normally do like going to the grocery, putting gas in our car, buying clothes, going out to eat, etc.  We can make money for our parish without spending anything extra.  Scrip gift certificates can be purchased in the parish office from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Monday-Friday and after all weekend masses.

FAMILIES WITH INCOMING FIRST GRADERS   Parish families with children entering the first grade of the public school system for 2007 - 2008 should register those children for the CCD program as soon as possible.  Information and registration forms may be downloaded from the parish website.  Questions should be directed to David Kohrs at kohrssd@fuse.net or 441-1069.

ICE CREAM SOCIAL    sponsored by the Foresters will be held after the 11:30 Mass on July 29th in McCrystal Hall. All are welcome to come. If you attend another mass that week, come back about 12:30 and join in the fun!

If you have any unreported hours from other months, just submit those with the June ours. The hours are now reported to St. Elizabeth on a quarterly basis – so you are never too late to report hours. Thanks again for your help in this matter.

THE HEALTH MINISTRY COMMITTEE   would like to know if there are any parishioners that are in nursing homes or homebound that would like to be visited or contacted by phone.  We also can provide transportation to doctor’s appointments and meals on a temporary basis to those in need due to illness.  We would like to make sure that all of our parishioners’ needs, both spiritual and relating to  health, are being addressed.  However, in order to do this, we need to know who needs help.  Please contact the parish office, 441-1352, if you or someone you know is in need of this kind of help.

SAVE THE DATE   The next Women’s CRHP weekend is September 8th & 9th and is open to all women of the parish.  The next Men’s CRHP Weekend will be September 22nd & 23rd and is open to all men of the parish.  Prayerfully consider this opportunity to renew yourself and the parish.  Anyone interested or for more information please contact Rob Hans (men) at 441-5430 or rlhans@fuse.net or Sheila Carroll (women) at 491-8771.
