at the 9:00 a.m. mass, followed by a reception in McCrystal Hall.
If you are a graduate this year and have not received a letter, please
call the parish office.
NOMINATIONS
NEEDED! Please nominate yourself or another parishioner for a position
on St. Catherine's Parish Pastoral Council or Board of Catholic Education. A
number of positions need to be filled. Place your nomination in the box in the
back of Church or call Dave Barth (441-0194) or Nathan Myers (442-8529). This is
not an election process. On Wednesday June 6th at 7:00 pm in
the Library, a meeting will be held to explain to all nominees the needs and
responsibilities of both boards and to discern new members.
ST. CATHERINE SCHOOL
is hoping to improve its facility by adding pictures and statues
pertaining to Catholicism throughout the building. If you have anything you wish to donate, please call Jennie

EASTER FLOWER DONATIONS
The worship committee would like to thank all who made donations for
Easter flowers this year. Thanks
also to Mary Kay Connolly and Mary Keller for arranging them and Tim Reynolds
and crew for assembling the fountain. The
cross and Alleluia on the wall were breathtaking and many thanks to Karen and
David Walz and Tim Reynolds for that. We
appreciate everyone who had any part in decorating and making this Easter Season
so beautiful and inspiring.

BIBLE SCHOOL will

BABY BOTTLE BOOMERANG It is time once again for the baby bottle
boomerang to benefit Care Net Pregnancy Centers. After mass next week, pick up
your baby bottle, fill it with your spare change and return it by Father's Day (June
17). Care Net provides education and support to women before, during and
after an unplanned pregnancy. Care Net services include pregnancy tests,
counseling, parenting and mentoring programs, baby clothes, diapers and other
baby items and abstinence education.
Thanks to the success of the baby bottle campaign last year Care Net was able to
purchase an ultrasound machine for its Covington location. Your spare change can
make a difference! Please join us in helping Care Net continue their important
work.
FORESTERS
FLORENCE FREEDOM NIGHT St. Catherine
Foresters #2514 will attend the Forester night at the Florence Freedom ballpark
on Monday, June 18th 2007. Bus transportation is supplied to
take us to the game from the church parking lot. One dollar hot dogs, soft
drinks and popcorn for Foresters. Admission for adult members will be $5 and
youth members, ages 0-21 free of charge. Please RSVP by May 15th to

MACKINAC
ISLAND BUS TRIP St. Catherine of Siena Senior Travel Group invites you to join
us on a trip to Mackinac Island and Michigan on September 10th –
14th. Cost is $485 and includes 5 days, meals, lodging,

also have a bus trip planed to go to FRENCH LICK SPRINGS RESORT & CASINO on June

NEWS
ST. CATHERINE SUMMER FESTIVAL Make plans now to attend our church festival festivities, beginning with a golf outing Thursday June 7th . An outdoor concert on the evening of Friday, June 8th from 7:30 to 11:00 p.m. with the Dan Walsh Band, featuring Jon Guth, Eric Veith, Gary Devoto, Kurt Dupont, Dan Walsh and our own Fr. Stef. The Festival begins Saturday, June 9th after the 4:30 p.m. Mass. The whole community is invited to participate in the games, children’s activities, rides and auctions while enjoying great friends, food and drinks. Committee is in need of volunteers to work 2 hour shifts at the festival June

Our goal is
to create five fabulous theme baskets valued at $150 and up! We need your help
by donating basket items or by making a monetary donation. We will use your
donation and create the baskets! Our five themes are * Kiss the Cook (kitchen
gadgets; cookbooks; non-perishables; aprons; etc.) * Back Yard Living (BBQ
items; plastic dinnerware; pool gear; lawn games; etc) * Summer Time Fun (beach

WALK THE BRIDGE TO LIFE Sunday, June 3rd, from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Beginning at the World Peace Bell in Newport, hundreds of participants will converge on the Purple People Bridge for this peaceful, prayerful presence to advocate for the sanctity of human life.
