LOOKING
FOR VOLUNTEERS The
Festival Committee is in need of volunteers to work 2 hour shifts at the

IN NEED OF TOYS
We are having a new children’s booth at the festival this year. It’s

books, gently used stuffed animals, anything children would like. So clean out
those gift closets or buy a new toy and donate. We need 100 items. We will have
a box for collection at the masses the weekend of May 12th & 13th.

IN OUR DIOCESE
WALK THE BRIDGE TO LIFE Sunday, June 3rd, from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Beginning at the World Peace Bell in Newport, hundreds of participants will converge on the Purple People Bridge for this peaceful, prayerful presence to advocate for the sanctity of human life. Please join Bishop Foys and bring your families. This is a collaborative event sponsored by the Diocese of Covington, Archdiocese of Cincinnati and other Greater Cincinnati and N. Kentucky life affirming organizations. For more information please call the Pro-Life Commission at 392-1545.
DIOCESAN CATHOLIC CHILDREN’S HOME in Fort Mitchell, is a residential care and treatment center serving boys and girls, ages 6-12 that have moderate to severe emotional problems. We are in need of assistance for our festival, June 8th –10th, which is our major fundraiser. Donations are needed for our Silent Auction and volunteers are needed for the festival. Please contact Kathy Bohman 586-4627 or Lori Hehman 331-7626. Our children have no voice but yours and mine. Please prayerfully consider this request.
DIOCESAN PARISH ANNUAL APPEAL For those who are unaware, our 2007 Diocesan goal for the 2007 DPAA is $56,178. For any amount that exceeds our goal, the funds come back to St. Catherine without having to pay the Diocesan assessment on them. For that reason, we are setting our personal parish goal at $100,000. We will use the excess funds for capital repairs that are sorely needed on the premises. As of May 6th, 140 families have returned their pledge cards with $49,141 in gifts and pledges, which leaves us $7,037 shy of our diocesan goal. What you may not know is if we do not reach our Diocesan goal, we must pay the difference from our general fund. We want to take this opportunity to thank you for your pledges and donations to date and remind those who may not have pledged yet there is still time to do so. If you have any questions regarding the DPAA, plese call Mary Brzinski in the parish office.
