ATTENTION SIENA CLUB   Please remember this month's meeting is next Sunday, April 15th at  12:30 p.m. in McCrystal Hall.  Have a blessed and joyful Easter. 

TEMPORARY PART-TIME MAINTENANCE PERSON NEEDED    at St. Catherine for at least 12 weeks, while Sally Taylor is on medical leave.  Duties will include cleaning the parish center and church office.  Time requirement is about 20 hours per week.  This would be a great opportunity for stay-at-home moms with children in school to earn some extra money.  If interested, please contact Mary Brzinski at 441-1352 or email at mbrzinski@stcatherineofsiena.org.

INSPIRATIONAL HOMILIES ON CD   Listen to God's message as you drive or share his message with a shut-in or friend.  The Lenten Series Part 2 is now available on CD.  This includes Fr. Stef's homilies from the last 2 Sundays of Lent and Palm Sunday. The CD's can be picked up in the back of church or in the parish office.  

ST. CATHERINE PLAYERS   will be performing Moby Dick, The Musical on April 13th, 14th, 20th & 21st  in McCrystal Hall. CATHERINE MEN’S GOLF LEAGUE   Be a part of the 37th year of the Men's Golf league!  Come join with your fellow parishioners or make new friends, on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the summer months for 9 holes of golf at the AJ Jolly Golf Course.  Tee off  between 4 - 6 PM.  Play against comparable handicaps and enjoy a little summer golf!.  Regulars and Subs needed! THE CATHEDRAL BASILICA    will again have the Come Home Program for those who have been in-active in the Catholic Faith.  THE DIOCESAN CATHOLIC CHILDREN’S HOME   needs volunteers to work the booths at their annual festival June 8th, 9th, & 10th. The children they serve are primarily from the Northern Kentucky counties and are of all faiths.  Please consider helping out for a few hours by contacting DCCH at 331-2040, Sr. Jean Marie Hoffman, ext. 214 or Steven Breidenich, ext. 234.

A CARING PRESENCE   The St. Luke Hospitals are sponsoring support group for patients and their caregivers who are dealing with chronic illnesses.  The focus of the group is to meet the spiritual needs of these patients and their caregivers, and to help them through their difficult time.  The group will meet from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month in the waiting area of the St. Luke East Cancer Treatment Center.  This month's meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 10th. If you have any questions about this program, you can call Debbie Truesdell at 781-2143.

 BENEFIT FOR JIMMY McMILLAN, JR.   to be held on Saturday, April 14th from 7:30 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. at The Beer Sellar, Riverboat Row, Newport.  Donation is $20.00 per person at the door, and includes 3 beer or 2 wine tickets.  There will be an appetizer buffet from 8pm – 10 pm.  Recently Jimmy McMillan Jr., a 25 year-old Highlands High School alumni, suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury from a fall that occurred at his residence in Charleston, South Carolina.  All donations will benefit the on-going medical costs and expenses associated with his care. (Must be 21 or older to attend.)

 TAKE BACK THE NIGHT   an event held to bring awareness and education to the ongoing problem of sexual violence in our community, will take place on Friday, April 27th.  Attendees of the event will assemble at 6:30 p.m. in Cincinnati’'s Bicentennial Commons for a rally and then march across the Taylor Southgate Bridge to the Millennium Peace Bell in Newport.  Here a brief program will commence including presentations by Lucreta Bowman, a nationally known speaker on the abuse cycle, and a performance by the musical group MUSE. The evening will conclude with a silent, candle-light vigil back to Bicentennial Commons in honor of those victims who did not survive the violence.  For more information, contact DeAnne Aselage, at 291-1862, or Lisa Hunt at (513)861-1111.

GOLFERS NEEDED   The Interfaith Hospitality Network Golf Marathon fundraiser will be held on May 11 at A J Jolly Golf Course. Participants golf from sun-up to sun-down, playing as many holes as possible, with a maximum of 100 holes. Participants collect money from their sponsors to support IHN's mission to help the homeless. If you would like to participate, please contact Lisa Walburg at 441-4964.
