grocery bags for the Lenten Project are on the shelf in the back of church. Take
a bag, fill it with the items on the list, and return it before Good Friday
morning. Take 2 bags if you feel generous in this season. We will
distribute the bags to the local agencies on Good Friday like usual. Details to

SOUP AND STATIONS Please join fellow parishioners for the first Soup & Stations on Friday, March 9th. Stop by McCrystal Hall for a bowl of soup and a bit of socializing beginning at 6:00 p.m. and stay for stations, which begin at 7:30 p.m.
BLESSING OF PREGNANT WOMEN In my talk after Ash Wednesday Mass, I spoke about sacramentals. Among all the sacramentals, blessings hold a privileged place. From time to time we celebrate certain blessings, for instance, of pets around the feast of St. Francis. On Sunday, 18 March, at the 9:00 a.m. Mass, we will celebrate a Blessing of Mothers before Childbirth. If you are an expectant mother and would like this blessing, please contact the office and join us at this Mass.
FR. STEF’S SUMMERFEST CONCERT is now available on CD. As an accomplished musician who combines his passions for faith and music, Fr. Stef's performance is a spiritual and inspirational musical experience. The concert CD can be picked up at the parish office. There is no charge for the CD's, but if you would like to make a donation, you may do so when you pick up the CD.
ATTENTION HEALTH MINISTRY VOLUNTEERS Please submit volunteer hours and committee name for February to Cheri Hunter by email at cheri_hunter2000@yahoo.com, by phone, 781-4507, or leave a note in the box by the parking lot door. If you have any unreported hours from other months, just submit those with the February hours. The hours are reported to St. Elizabeth on a quarterly basis, so you are never too late to report hours. Thanks again for your help in this matter.
LOVE BOAT ’07 THANK YOU for making our Love Boat fundraiser a HUGE success!! Thanks to the dedication, generosity, and participation of our St. Catherine family, we surpassed our goal of $30,000!! Shannon Walz and Ellen Wira
MANY THANKS
“They will know we are Christians by our love” certainly applies
to the love my neighbors and I received on February 25th. In response to Barry Henry’s email, Tim Reynolds and his
crew of his son Chris and Ken Dorger, came to clean up the damage in my yard
left by the ice storm. I would like
to thank them as well as the others who responded to the email but the time did
not work out. Louise Roth
