BURNING OF PALMS
In preparation for Ash Wednesday, we burn the palms you received last
Passion (Palm) Sunday. The ashes
from this burning then become the ashes you receive on your forehead at the
beginning of Lent. Come join us
this Tuesday evening, February 20th, at 7:00 p.m. (after
Benediction) for this simple ceremony on the plaza in front of church. In fact, why not join us for Benediction, too?

THE JEFF MCGUIGGAN MEMORIAL 29TH ANNUAL VOLLEYBALL MARATHON To be held on March 9th & 10th. The proceeds from this event will benefit Madonna House of N. Ky., a redirective apartment facility for single mothers and their babies, which provides a place for them to learn and grow when they might otherwise be homeless. Madonna House teaches young women responsibility, and independence in a Christian setting. The marathon will begin at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 9th and continue until 10 p.m. on Saturday, March 10th. The site will be the Northern Ky. University Albright Health Center, Main Activity Area. Each team will consist of six to nine players of any age playing for one hour. Each player will be responsible for raising at least $15 to play and will receive a commemorative T-shirt. Prizes will be awarded to those who raise the most in sponsorship money.
