I would like to express my thanks
to Fr. Stef and all of the pastors with whom I served at St. Catherine for their
kindness. I would also like to thank the parishioners and anyone who shared
their kindness and cared for me while I was in residence there. I was happy to
serve St Catherine in what limited ways I could and I am thankful for your
support and cooperation. Please
continue to pray for me and be assured that you will all remain in my prayers. Thanks
again, Fr. Vater.
OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHY
is extended to the family of Al Duell, whose funeral was held at St.
Catherine last week. Please keep Al
and his family in your prayers.
ADORATION HOURS EXTENDED

CHRISTMAS CAROLING Would
you like to bring peace, joy and love to others this Advent season? Then join us
as we go Christmas caroling Sunday, December 16th at the
Barrington and Highland Springs. Please gather in St Catherine’s parking lot
at 5:30 p.m. This event gives true meaning to the season.

VISIT THE
JESSE TREE this weekend. For our annual project,
we will be providing gifts to those in need in our parish, local community and
through the diocesan mission in Vanceburg, Kentucky. Select an ornament
tag from the tree, located in the church's prayer/meditation space (former
baptistry), and return your gift with ornament tag attached by Sunday,
December 16th, 12:30 pm to the Jesse Tree space. Wrap your
gift only if indicated on the tag. For those interested in helping, but
are unable to shop, monetary donations will be gladly accepted. Call Tish
Gayle (781-4911) with any questions.
CHRISTMAS
IS COMING If you would like to give Fr. Stef a Christmas gift but
aren’t sure what he needs, we are once again taking up a collection for his
gift. We thought it best to have him decide what to buy. If you would like
to contribute, please drop your donation at the church, CCD or school office or
give it to Terri Babey, Bev Stegman, Kim Lampe, or Sandy Nagel. Make sure to
include your family name to put on the Christmas Card.
Thank you, Terri Babey
VOLUNTEERS
NEEDED to
help clean the church once a month. Our
dedicated cleaning crew is in need of a few more helpers.
They meet on the first Thursday of the month immediately after 8:00 a.m.

stewardship opportunity, but also a chance to get to know some of your fellow
parishioners better. If you would
like to join this wonderful group, please call the parish office, 441-1352.
THANKS
SO MUCH!!! As
the new ecumenical year has started, I would like to thank all of our

provide food for the families who lost a loved one this past year.
I especially want to thank Judy Messmer and her family for all their work
these past years on the Bereavement Committee.
All the efforts made by this committee are so appreciated by our Parish.
Thanks again – Carol Adams
