 FR. STEF'S HOMILIES ON CD   The October homilies are now available and can be picked up in the back of church or in the parish office. 

FAMILY LUNCH WITH ST. NICK    Sponsored by the Foresters and Social Life Committee – Sunday, December 2nd, from 12:30-2:30 in McCrystal Hall.  There will be lunch, story of St. Nick and crafts.  We ask each child to please bring a coloring book and 24 pack of crayons for St. Nick to distribute to other children.  Please RSVP by Tuesday, November 27th to Lisa Wormald at 781-6280 or Lwormald@fuse.net with your name and number of adults and children attending.

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION   St. Catherine School collects Box Tops for Education which appear on most General Mills, Pillsbury, Betty Crocker, Go-Gurt, Trix Yogurt and Zip Loc products, just to name a few. These can be turned into the school office, or you may drop them off in the box at the Rossford Avenue church entrance.

GUIDEBOOK UPDATES    does our church database have your family membership record correct?  Here is your chance to update your record for our annual Guide Book & Directory.  (If you haven’t already done so.)  It is time for us to update our database with any changes, additions or deletions that  may have occurred in your family over the past year.  Have you changed your phone number? Have you moved? Are you preparing to move soon?  Are all of your children still at home and are they all included in your membership record?  If you have not already informed the church office about changes to your record, please let us know now so that the information in the Guide Book& Directory is correct.  Thank you for your attention to this matter.

YOUTH 2000 EUCHARISTIC RETREAT IS BACK    It’s not too late! You can still register for he Eucharistic retreat weekend for Catholic teens and 20-somethings at Thomas Moore College November 30th – December 2nd.  Walk in registration starts at 5:30 p.m. Friday Nov. 30th. OPEN HOUSE   Newport Central Catholic High School invites you to attend its Open House on Thursday, November 29th from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. NCC offers you this opportunity to become more familiar with its religious education program, expanded curriculum, innovative 3x5 Trimester Schedule, 10 advanced placement classes, academic enhancement program, athletics, extracurricular activities and its plans for future campus improvements. Registration will begin at 6:15 p.m. and two  lucky 8th graders in attendance will win a $250 NCC gift certificate in a special raffle for 8th graders only. IN MEMORY OF   Madonna Manor friends and family will gather December 12th to honor and remember loved ones. Trim the Tree with a Memory will begin with a prayer service in the Manor's chapel at 7 p.m. The names of those being remembered will be read aloud and ornaments bearing their names will be placed on Christmas trees and be displayed throughout the Christmas season. The annual Holiday Open House will follow the prayer service to celebrate and cherish the memories of those whose lives we remember. To purchase an ornament in honor of, or in memory of a loved one, please send $15 for each ornament along with the names of those to be remembered to: Trim the Tree with a Memory, Madonna Manor, 2344 Amsterdam Rd., Villa Hills, KY 41017. YOUR HELP IS NEEDED    Be Concerned is preparing for its 39th Christmas Store on December 6th, 7th, 8th & 10th.  They need your help to make this the best Christmas for their families. The following are the items they are most in need of:  Canned Fruit, Canned Meat (tuna, beef-a-roni, etc.), Cereal, Pasta, Pasta Sauce, Turkeys (10-12lbs), Toothpaste and Soap.  Your donations will be greatly appreciated.  Volunteers are also needed to work the Christmas Sto re.  For more information please call Sr. Mary or Brenda at 291-1340.
