BELIZE HURRICANE RELIEF
COLLECTION WOW!!
Thanks to the compassionate and generous hearts of our parish family, $700 was
collected last weekend for the Belize hurricane relief. We'd like to
extend a sincere thank you to for your kindness and generosity.
HOMILIES ON CD Fr. Stef's September homilies are now available in the back of church and in the parish office.
CHILDREN’S LITURGY OF THE WORD (CLOW) is a ministry of the Worship Committee. Children are lead by an adult through the Liturgy of the Word using the Children's Lectionary and participate in a guided reflection about the Gospel's message. CLOW will be beginning in October and is offered the 2nd and 4th Sundays each month at 9:00 am Mass. If any adults are interested in helping to lead or monitor CLOW, please contact Alison Schwalbach (441-1865).
COME PRAY THE ROSARY WITH US The rosary is said at St. Catherine every Wednesday evening immediately following mass. If you are already attending mass, please consider staying a bit longer and joining fellow parishioners in this powerful prayer. Everyone is welcome!
LOST IN THE BEAUTY OF HER GOD
Is the title of Sister Marie Pierre Semler's exhibit that Fr. Stef
Bankemper will be presenting today, Sunday, October 7th
at 7:00pm. "When Sister Marie looked at a piece of wood, stone or canvas,
she saw stories, messages of inspiration and the achievements and shortcomings
of humankind." Fr. Stef will guide us in prayer and meditation
inspired from the art. The exhibit will be on display in McCrystal Hall
prior to the talk from 4:00-7:00 pm. Questions call Terri 441-3438.
ST. CATHERINE SIENA CLUB
will be
meeting next Sunday, October 14th at 12:30 p.m. in McCrystal

DIOCESAN PRO LIFE MASS
to
be held at the Cathedral Basilica on Wednesday, October 17th,
at 7:00 p.m. The Bishop will
celebrate Mass with many of our Diocesan priests, calling all to live the Gospel
of Life. The rosary will be prayed
at 6:15 p.m. There will be a reception immediately following Mass in Howard Hall
where community resources in support of life will be on display.
Please bring your family and friends as we join together in our greatest
defense of life celebrating the Eucharist.

FLU SHOTS
will be available again
this year on October 20th & 21st in the back of
church. You must sign-up by October 15th in the back of
church, so that we can have enough vaccine available. The times will be
after 4:30pm mass until 6:15pm on October 20th and after 9:00am mass
until 11:15am on October 21st. The cost will be $20. Flu shots
will be free if you present a Medicare card for those 65 and older. This will be
the only type of insurance card that is accepted. If you would like
to help out or have any questions, contact Carol Gessner at 442-5280.
MARK YOUR CALENDAR for a fun evening on Saturday, October 20th in McCrystal Hall. The Social Life Committee is having a repeat of last year’s successful "A Night to Remember, Come to the Cabaret". A CARING PRESENCE is a spiritual support group formed to help people experience and share the spiritual needs of patients, care-givers, family and friends who are dealing with the stress of on-going medical problems.
