WILL YOU BE "LEFT BEHIND" AT THE END OF THE WORLD? Join Fr. Mike Comer, anointed speaker, as he uncovers truth from fiction about the "end times" on Sunday, January 21 at 7:00 pm. Come learn what the Church really teaches, substantiated by theological tradition and scripture. Music by our very own Jon Guth! Don't be "left behind" from the truth -mark your calendar for an inspiring spiritual evening. Questions call Sharon Kohrs 441-1069 or Terri Babey 441-3438.
LOVE BOAT ’07 CELEBRATION is quickly approaching. Be sure your calendars are marked for Saturday, February 10th. More information will follow in upcoming bulletins.
DOUBLE YOUR GIVING Did you know that many companies in the area have "Matching Gift Programs" for current employees, as well as retirees and surviving spouses of former employees? Most companies match gifts to eligible charities or educational institutions on a dollar for dollar basis, with annual maximum giving limits of $5000 or more. St Catherine School is eligible for many of these programs, so in addition to being tax deductible, your contribution's impact can be doubled throughout the use of your employer's Matching Gifts Program. Please check with your employer to see if you can double the impact of your giving.
THE
HEALTH MINISTRIES COMMITTEE would
like to know if there are any parishioners that are in Nursing Homes or
homebound that would like to be visited or contacted by phone. We also can
provide transportation to doctor appointments and meals on a temporary basis to
those in need due to illness. We
would like to make sure that all of our parishioners’ needs, both spiritual
and physical, are being addressed. However,
we need to know who the parishioners are and how we can help.
Please contact the parish office with any information.
AN
INVITATION If
you’re confined to home and unable to attend Mass (even if it’s just
temporary), please call the parish office (441-1352) if you’d like to receive
Holy Communion in your home. One of
our Parish Ministries – Outreach to the Homebound – is waiting to bring the
Eucharist to you, a family member, or even your neighbor.
We know that this is a need waiting to be met, but we must first hear
from you. So please accept this
invitation and allow us to share the Living Bread – the Body of Jesus with
you.
