IN OUR PARISH

***ENDOFBOX***

A/C UPDATE.......The old units are down from the roof, waiting to be cut up and

sold for scrap. Next up for us to do is the electric and finish raising the

money. As of this writing we are up to about $27,000; we are getting there,

but have a little way yet to go.

Fr. Stef

(1103-0020.tif)WE WELCOME TO OUR PARISH FAMILY.....through baptism: Dylan Eugene

Schulkers, son of Daniel and Andrea; Casey Donald Knauer, son of Scott and

Jaime; Gordon Henry Loyall, son of Eric and Heather; and Emma Michele Beck,

daughter of Michael and Michele. May they always know God’s goodness and

blessings!

THANKS TO THE SOCIAL LIFE COMMITTEE....a limited number of copies of the 75th

Anniversary History of the parish are available. A small press run of 100

copies have been printed. Those who were unable to get a copy during the

celebration year now have that opportunity. Fifty of this present run will be

reserved to give as gifts to new members when they join the parish. The

balance will be sold for $8 a copy, a slight increase due to the small press

run. Copies are available at the parish office during regular hours.

COMMUNITY CIRCLE NEEDS YOU!.....after many years of producing our Community

Circle, Margie Powers is moving on. Please take the time to thank her for this

great service to our St. Catherine family. This means that we will loose this

treasured part of our parish life unless others fill the gap. Please consider

in your heart if this is something you can do. Community Circle is a very

important communications ministry for our parish and would be sadly missed.

Margie is willing to help with the transition and has said it only takes a few

hours near the end of each month. Please don’t say someone else will do it,

that someone else may be you. If interested, please call the parish office

(441-1352).

A NOTE TO ALL BRIDGE PLAYERS....the marathon year runs from late August to the

end of May, playing once a month. Groups that you could join: A Men’s Group, A

Couple’s Group, A Ladies Evening Group ( not necessarily P.M.), A Ladies

Luncheon Group (plays the 4th Tuesday of each month at Highlands Country Club

10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.). You do not have to be a Master to enjoy bridge- call

Rose Marie Dusing (781-1828) if you or anyone you know may be interested.
