This
may not look like to much be we still have to schedule in a 1 hour Spiritual
Direction meeting, a 1 hour formation meeting, about 2 to 3 hours of homework a
day and I also volunteer as a chaplain at a local fire department. Free time can
soon become a very valuable item around here.
On
August 18th I met eight other seminarians in McKee Kentucky to help
work on homes in the mountains of Kentucky. We helped a group that works for CAP
which was started by a Catholic Priest and serves the poor in Appalachia. In
four days we replaces a roof and five windows on one house and two doors and
siding on another. It was hot!!!! Three
of the four days was over one hundred degrees. I really enjoyed getting the know
the other guys better and we played Monopoly most nights.
I
hope you are all doing well and you are in my prayers
Yours
in Christ
